Starting counselling can feel uncertain, especially if you don’t know what the first session will be like.

The first session is not about being analysed or judged. It’s simply a conversation.

You’ll have the opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, and I’ll ask some gentle questions to help understand your situation. There’s no pressure to share everything straight away — you can go at your own pace.

Most people find that once they start talking, it begins to feel more natural than they expected.
